Vinea Marson is the name of the vineyard and wine label of Mario and Helen Marson and their daughters. Our portfolio of wines includes our Syrah, Viognier and Rosé and the Italian varieties, Sangiovese and Nebbiolo.
Kennedy Vineyard was planted to Shiraz vines in 2002 and the first vintage was produced in 2005. We are thrilled with the quality of this wine and the feedback we have received.
The 40 hectare Greenstone Vineyard is situated north of the town of Heathcote at Colbinabbin, about a 90 minutes drive north of Melbourne. Twenty hectares are under vine.
Located in the coveted south end of Heathcote the vines nestle in the sought after granitic soil amongst dramatic scenery of large granite boulders, majestic rolling hills and imposing gullies all framed by the Great Dividing Range.
This wine is matured in new French oak barrels for 18-20 months depending on the vintage, and is then bottle fermented for a further 24-36 months, which enables the wine to fully develop its complex bottle fermentation characteristics.
Condie Estate Giaracca Sangiovese is a wonderful expression of a Heathcote Sangiovese. The fruit is from our Lewis Road Vineyard and the wine is made using traditional methods.
Heathcote Wine Region, in Central Victoria, has grown a reputation as a great place to grow Shiraz. The region features a deep strip of rare, ancient, red Cambrian soil with excellent moisture retention characteristics.
The unique terroir of our little Lakeside Vineyard, which is located just 60 metres from Lake Eppalock, right in the middle of the Heathcote wine growing region, presents an ideal location for this delicate and early-picked Heathcote Syrah.
