The Chalmers family’s commitment to innovation and excellence has made them a pivotal force in the Australian wine scene for almost 30 years. Through their nursery, vineyards and wine brands, Chalmers encourages viticultural diversity.
The 40 hectare Greenstone Vineyard is situated north of the town of Heathcote at Colbinabbin, about a 90 minutes drive north of Melbourne. Twenty hectares are under vine.
Peregrine Ridge focuses on high quality, elegant Shiraz styles which emphasise the Mt Camel terroir. The wines are produced solely from estate grown fruit and handcrafted on site, using traditional techniques.
Each year grapes for Syrahmi are sourced and selected from a different vineyard in the Heathcote region. Thus each year the wine’s I make are given different name to reflect the vintage.
Flynns Wines are situated 13kms North of the Heathcote township on the Northern Highway, on the way to Echuca, Lewis Road is on the left (coming from Melbourne) with signage on the corner of Lewis Road and the Northern Highway.
Sandra Aitken and her team at Barfold Estate make hand crafted, estate-grown, minimal intervention wines on their rustic estate located midway between Heathcote and Kyneton.
Occam's Razor is produced by Emily McNally from organic grapes grown by the Conforti family within the Heathcote region at Mia Mia just south west of Heathcote on granite based soil.
